Hi,

A quick question, I get the point of bash rings/plates but how do they attach to the bike?

I think the frames have a mount for the plates, and the rings just go on the crank spider.

yup, you should have two holes on the underside of your downtube, use one of those for the front of your bashplate, and then you will probs find two mounts around the bb shell for the rear, is your freewheel on your cranks?
