| i went to chicksands today for the first time but my riding bud came off one of the tables early on in the day and broke his collar bone so instead of riding north shore etc we was staring at the grey walls within bedford hospital all afternoon. I'd be happy to head out to anywhere between Reading and Chicksands on sundays to keep riding while my mates shoulder heals |

| we didnt even get that far so i wouldnt know. we manage to run the 4x and dual a few times but after that it was time for A&E. would definatly like to go again fairly soon though |

not really i was thinking of scouting some out not very jelpful the local bike shop all they said was swinley
great as if noone knows that
winters hill is supposed to have some downhill but it gets too dark too early if i get an early finfish one day may scout about

Hey Jedi...long time!
what is left at Chicksands? (in the way of shore)
we keep hearing mixed reports from riders about what is still on site
talking of Shore, how is Herts Shore these days? been a long while...
we are still here at Esher Shore, although attendance is definitely down about 1/3rd on last season - whether this is due to the recession, the removal of the dirt jump / slopestyle park (Which is being replaced with 3 interlinked pump tracks for 2010) or the changing riding trends (old dudes getting back into XC and All-Mountain, and young dudes quitting freeride for BMX, Skateboarding and MTB Dirt Jumping) we are not sure....
but we are still here, and busy working on the bike park when time permits |
